Shabbat of a Lifetime (SOAL) requires a full, non-refundable payment one week in advance. Cancellations within one week of the reservation are non-refundable- with the exception of events “by the hand of God” (including security situations and storms).
The preferred payment for SOAL is by PayPal payments.
SOAL reserves the right to make changes to the program in cases when alterations are desirable for the comfort, welfare or safety, and/or proper carrying out of the program.
SOAL is a home hospitality service providing a Friday evening program including a home-cooked meal. SOAL does not claim to be a catering business or a restaurant.
SOAL reserves the right to make minor alternations to the menu depending on factors such as food availability. Any changes in the menu will be replaced by a comparable item.
Vegetarians/Food Restrictions- SOAL will make all efforts to provide food that will comply to the specific needs of the individuals within the group. Any food restrictions (including vegetarians) need to be made known to SOAL within one week of the scheduled meal. SOAL can not commit to complying will all food requests, but will try their best to ensure the comfort of its participants.
All food served at an SOAL meal is strictly kosher and prepared in a kosher kitchen. No outside food can be brought into your host’s home.
SOAL program does not include transfer from the group’s hotel to the Old City.
SOAL is a shomer-shabbat program and is therefore sensitive to the laws of shabbat.
